Looking for information on the Frank W. Phillips & Hugh Smith Families. Hugh Smith was born around 1818 in Ireland, immigrated here in 1849 and was naturalized in 1854. I have two different names for wives Mary Brandon that I got from Ancestry.com and Julia Mullen which I got from this website. So not sure now if I have the right Hugh Smith. I have for Hugh's children as Thomas, Matthew, Anna, Mary, Catherine, Maggie. Catherine is my G.Grandmother who married Frank W. Phillips (who I will get to in a moment).
I recently found a website citing a source of G.A. Roberts writings of a letter speaking of his migration from Maryland into Indiana with two other families of which I'm a direct descendant. The families mentioned in these writings are of Thomas Leatherbury and Samuel Taylor Blodgett. If anyone may have these writings or know where I can find them please let me know. I am willing to share any information concerning any families I'm researching with other researchers.

I am a descendant of this gentleman, born in Madison, Jefferson Co, IN. While William was born in Indiana, he spent most of his life in Pennsylvania and Maryland. I believe he is the grandson of Jonathan McClure and Catherine Shafner. Any assistance would be appreciated.
My name is Golden Combs Ferguson. I am married to Larry Adams Ferguson. Larry was born in Dearborn County; and after being adopted, lived in Madison, Jefferson County; until going into the US Army.
Larry was adopted by William Crozier and Susan Napier Ferguson of Jefferson County, as a toddler. Larry and I have been married 44 years this past June.
Seeking place of burial and parents of Rebecca Cotton Carlow Stewart b. Aug 4, 1828 d. Sep 2, 1896, married James McCarthy Stewart in 1855.
William McCasland filed a pension claim in Jefferson County for his service with the Pennsylvania Volunteers between 1777-1781. In his claim #W21790 there are two bible pages, one from when he was still living, and the other that his wife Eleanor submitted after his death.
The second record was recorded on the backside of the title page of The New Testament, Printed in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1795 by Mark and Charles Kerr, His Majesty's Printers.
William McCasland was born March 8, 1758 and was married 1781
Jain McCasland was born February 14, 1782
Looking for any information on James Higgins & Alcinda Beard they were married in Switerland county 18 Sep 1879. James was also married to Celia Adams in Switerland county on 7 Sep 1860. Info for Alcinda & Celia is greatly appericated. Also info on James father Martin Higgins appericated. I have yet to find any burial information for Martin who died in Switerland county abt 5 Oct 1882.
I have been searching for a long time for my mother's paternal grandfather. His name was Frederick Martin. Various sources give different birth dates, but all agree that he was born in Kentucky. He was born in April circa 1850. He married on May 23, 1882, in Switzerland County, Indiana to Amanda Belle Jacobs, widow of Summison Greene. They started their family in Gallatin County, Kentucky. I believe they moved to Ohio County, Indiana ~ 1890. Fred was killed in a train accident near the Dillsboro train station in 1904.
