Grant County, Indiana School Pictures

Ethel Harrell (my grandaunt) was born 7 June 1908 and died 7 September 1921, so that photo has to be in the teens sometime, maybe 1913 or so, she looks like she is about 5 or 6 years old. Written on the back was "Schoolroom Sweetser, Indiana Miss Rose Burge"

Wordner David Hedrick [my grandfather] was born 18 June 1903 and died 31 October 1988. I have no idea where he is in this photo it simply had his name on the back and Lincoln School.

Wilbur Erlin Hedrick [my uncle] was born 19 April 1931 and died 27 October 1997. He is on the back row, second from left. This is the Roseburg School, undated.

Wilbur's class again, from Roseburg 13 November 1941 he is in the middle row fourth from left.

Paul David Hedrick [my father] Roseburg Basketball team, I have no idea when this was taken. My father is #2. My dad was born 8 September 1940, and died 17 August 2003. He looks to be 10-12 years old, so maybe this is the 1950s.

Esther Carolyn (Hedrick) Paschal, still living. Roseburg class, she is the 5th from the left on the back row.

1946-7 Paul David Hedrick 3rd from right back row

1948-9 Paul David Hedrick 1st on left back row

1950-1 Paul David Hedrick 3rd from right, 3rd row from front, you can see an arrow pointing at his head

1951-2 Paul David Hedrick 1st on right standing next to Mr. Raabe, a list of first names with last initial on the back of the photo.

Fairmount Academy 1915-1916 Basketball Team
I found this postcard in my grandfathers (Charles Gus Henry) possessions. He lived in Marion and Fairmount with his mother, (Emily Small-Henry-Moon) and associated families off and on during the early 1900's.

Meier School
Photo is on a Post Card, probably taken in the late 1890's to early 1900s. In the message section is written Fred Miller's school. In the address section is written Miss Mattie Murphy    Meier, Ind.

Martha A. Mattie Murphy was born on 24 February 1890 southwest of Swayzee. She died on 15 September 1963, in Marion, Indiana. She was married to Miles Franklin Frank Hoggatt on September 1, 1910.

If you can identify anyone in the picture, it would be very appreciated.
