Stewart - Benefiel - Poston

	Isaiah & Mary Jane Stewart Isaiah H. Stewart and Mary Jane Benefiel McCarty, married 24 March 1821, Jefferson Co., IN. Isaiah was born 24 Feb. 1791, the son of David Stewart. (Isaiah married first to Jane McCullough, daughter of John McCullough and Constant Jones, lived in Montgomery Co., KY. and had four children by Jane.) Mary Jane, b. 1 Nov. 1797, dau. of George Benefiel and Mary Buchanan, widow of James McCarty, died 1882. Isaiah and Mary Jane had ten children.
	David Stewart David Stewart, b. 22 May 1815, son of Isaiah and Jane McCullough Stewart, d. 13 March 1896, buried Brushy Fork Church Cemetery.
	Mary Poston Stewart Mary Poston Stewart, b. 21 May 1826, daughter of Mary Ellis and [likely] Levi Poston, granddaughter of Stephen and Rebecca Lewis Ellis. Married in Jefferson Co., IN to David Stewart, 12 Oct. 1843, son of Isaiah Stewart and Jane McCullough. Died 9 August 1899, buried Brushy Fork Church Cemetery.
