Brisben Family Bible

The Brisben Family Bible is in the possession of Barbara (Robison) LEE, who has given me permission to transcribe and publish the family records for this site. Barbara is the great-granddaughter of John Jack Brisben and Sarah Owens. Her mother, Laura Lea Brisben, was the grandchild of this couple, and was born in Clark County, IN. In a note from Barbara, she states "My grandmother was Jane Getty Brisben. She was born in Jefferson County, IN. My great grandmother was Sarah Owens. She was John Jack's third wife. Sarah was born in Jefferson County, April 13, 1819, and departed this life September 22, 1910, aged 91 years, 6 months and 9 days."
