Conner or Means graveyard

The John Paul DAR transcriptions of the 1940s list this cemetery as being on the Risk farm on the county line. The DAR places this cemetery as being known as the Conner or Means graveyward in Section 1. Jefferson County Road maps show it by name Conner cemetery in the NE1/4 of neighboring Section 2, just to the west, just south of the county (Ripley) line road.

• Conner, Lewis, Nov. 24, 1789-June 13, 1876, age 87 years.
• Conner,Benjamin A. (no dates)
• Conner, Lewis A. (no dates)

Conner Graveyard additions by Jackie Owen:

• The only stones left were Jonathan Conner and Lewis Conner. Lewis' was broken in half. His also had additional info on it. He was 87 years "6mos. & 19 days" old.
• Located on the Jefferson/Ripley County line. 4/10 of a mile west of Hicks Ridge or 7/10 of a mile east of Barbersville Road.
