The DAR transcription notes this as being on the George Demaree farm. This appears to be in a sliver of land in the SE1/4 of Section 23 bordering Section 24.

John Lanham, died Apr. 6, 1853, aged 71 years and 11 days. He was a native of Maryland and a citizen of Jefferson County since 1811
