This cemetery had no stones standing in the 1970s. A couple were lying down in the middle of a pasture. The transcription of dates and notes regarding James Suggan are per the John Paul DAR transcriptions of the 1940s. This cemetery is on the north side of Scotts Ridge Road, east of the former Amish School House.

  Mathis, John s of N & N (no stone remains)

  Mathis, Priscilla, w of John Mathis, Feb. 16, 1786-Sept. 22, 1835.

It is probable that James Suggan, a Rev. War soldier, is buried here. His wife Prissa was the mother of John Mathis.
