The D.A.R. records the following:
"On Malcomson farm, at top of Hanover Hill.
Davis, Francis, a Revolutionary soldier, died 1818.

See record in Roster of Revolutionary soldiers. A descendant, Mrs. Ira Tranter, Franklin, Indiana, sent in the information. The grave is marked with a field stone, and is at the edge of the road, close to boundary of farm with Tidballs."
