This cemetery is on Schafer Road, which is on the east side of old State Road 62. It is less than a mile south of the point where old S.R. 62 intersects modern S.R. 62 about two miles east of north Madison. The cemetery is visible from the highway. Schafer Road leads east along Schanpp’s Creek. That route is not easily accessible, if at all passible.

New survey by Robert W. Scott April 20, 2003. The DAR transcription, as posted by Ruth Hoggatt, was used as a base to check for accuracy of the original inscriptions. Inscriptions missed by the DAR, including detailed dates, have been added in bold face by Robert W. Scott
