There were no stones in this cemetery when the DAR transcription was made. The DAR records state that Matthew Ralston said his grandfather was buried in this cemetery. Given the date of the transcription, it is probable that the person giving the information was Matthew O. Ralston b. ca. 1862 and that his grandfather was Matthew Ralston b. ca. 1798 in Paisley, Scotland. He died by May 13, 1843 when his widow Jennet asked to be named administrator of his estate. She then married John Graham. This couple and all of Matthew and Jennet's children are buried at Caledonia Cem. Matthew patented land in the E1/2 SW1/4 Section 12 on Jan. 4, 1830.
