Description: the following described real estate in Jefferson county, in the state of Indiana, to-wit:
Fifty feet of ground fronting on the west side of Mill street in the City of Madison, being part of the part of Block U set off to Martha Godman in the division of her deceased father, John Sering's estate, described thus; Commencing at the corner of Mill street and the alley between Letitia Flints part of the said Block and said Martha's part and running thence with the west line of Mill street fifty (50) feet northwardly to A. Armel's line; thence west with said Armel's south line, one hundred and sixty (160) feet thence south fifty (50) feet to said alley; thence with the north line of said alley one hundred and sixty feet (160) to the place of beginning.

Description: the following described real estate in Jefferson county, in the state of Indiana, to-wit:
This Indenture witnesseth that Congregation Adath Israel of City of Madison, Jefferson county, in the state of Indiana, Convey and Warrant to Springdale Cemetery association in the City of Madison, Jefferson county in the state of Indiana, for and in the consideration of the amounts and agreements hereinafter mentioned the following described real estate in the City of Madison, Jefferson county, in the state of Indiana to-wit:
A lot of ground in the east end of Springdale Cemetery being (157) one hundred fifty seven feet north and south by (64) feet east and west being the real estate deeded to said Hebrew Cemetery Association by the City of Madison, Indiana on the 25th day of August 1877 and recorded in record Book No. 27, page 455
Also fifty feet of ground fronting on the west side of Mill street in the city of Madison, being part of that part of Block "U" set off to Martha Godman in the division of deceased father, John Sering's Estate-described thus; Commencing at the corner of Mill street and the alley between Letitia Flint's part of said Block and said Martha's part and running thence with the west line of Mill street fifty (50) feet northwardly to A. Armels line, thence west with said Armel's south line, one hundred and sixty (160) feet; thence south fifty (50) feet, to said alley; thence with the north line of said alley one hundred and sixty (160) feet to the place of beginning, and being the same property conveyed by Thomas J. Godman and Martha Godman, his wife to David Dubach and H.C. Kyle, by deed dated May 21, 1853; See Book No. 9, pages 302 and 303 of the deed records of Jefferson county, Indiana, and for a subsequent conveyance by David Dubach and their interest therein by a deed record dated the 13th day of December 1882 to Harry C. Kyle See Deed Record 47, page 99 of the deed records of Jefferson county, Indiana.
Said Grantors has also this day paid to said Grantee the sum of Fifteen Hundred dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by said Grantee and in consideration of this conveyance and payment of the sum of money afore mentioned and the further fact that a large part of said tract herein conveyed has been used and occupied as a Cemetery and many of the lots are already sold and occupied. Said Grantee is to and hereby agrees to convey the following lots to the persons hereinafter mentioned and to give each of said persons also a contract for the Perpetual Care of said Lots as follows:

or to the assignee of any of the heirs or persons aforementioned.
It is hereby understood and agreed by the parties hereto, that said Grantee is to reconvey to said Congregation Adath Israel Lots No. 26 and 35 to be used by said Congregation for charitable purposes that is for the burial of those who are unable to pay for burial lots.
A strip of ground four feet off the west side of Lots No. 30-41 and 42 is not to be occupied or used for burial purposes. Said Grantees are empowered to sell and retain the amount received for all other lots herein conveyed and not reserved and the same are to be sold to Jewish Persons and for the burial of Jewish Persons only.
In Witness Whereof, the said Congregation Adath Israel has hereunto set its hand and seals by its proper and duly authorized officers this 9th day of April 1912.
