James & Elizabeth Glover to David Vawter
[Elizabeth was David Vawter's sister]

    Know all men by these presents that we James Glover and wife Elizabeth his wife of the County of Jefferson and State of Indiana of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty Dollars to us in hand paid the Receipt of which is hereby acknowledged We do hereby give Grant bargain and forever quit Claim unto David Vawter of the second part of the county and state aforesaid all our right title and claim (as legal heirs of Philemo[n] Vawter dec'd) in and to a certain place or parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the said County of Jefferson and State of Indiana known and designated as follows towit Seventy Six acres of the South East quarter of Section thirty four town four North of Range ten East in the Jeffersonville district and in the North East corner of said qr being and Equal proportion of said tract left us by the last Will and testament of Said Philemon Vawter and We hereby warrant and defend the same to the David from us and our heirs forever.
In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 21st day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty two.

Personally came before me the undersigned recorder in and for said County James Glover and Elizabeth his wife the within named grantor who acknowledged the within and foregoing deed of Conveyance to their voluntary act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned.
The said Elizabeth being by me examined declared that she did freely and voluntarily sign and acknowledge the same and relinquish her right of dower to the premises conveyed without the Compulsion or pursuant of her said husband. Given under my hand and seal this 21st day of May 1832

[Elliott & David were brothers.]

    Know all men by these presents that I Elliott Vawter of the County of Todd and State of Kentucky of the first part for and in consideration of the Sum of Eighty dollars to me in hand paid the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged. I hereby Grant bargain Sell and forever quit Claim unto David Vawter of the Second part of the County of Jefferson & State of Indiana all my right title and Claim in and to the certain place or parcel of land Situate lying and Being in the said County of Jefferson Indiana known and designated as follows towit, The South east quarter of Section Thirty four Town four North of range ten East in the Jeffersonville district being my equal proportion of a fraction of said quarter section left me by my Father and hereby warrant and defend the same to the said David from me and my heirs forever   In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal This 27th day of March in the year eighteen hundred and thirty two

Beverly & Elizabeth Vawter to David Vawter
[Beverly & David were brothers.]

    Know all men by these presents that we Beverly Vawter and Elizabeth Vawter his wife of the County of Jefferson and State of Indiana of the first part, and David Vawter of the same County and State of the second part: Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand well and truly paid by the said david Vawter the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have remised released and forever quit claim unto the said David Vawter and do by these presents forever remise release and quit claim unto the said David Vawter and to his heirs and assigns forever all their right title interest claim and demand of in and to the south East quarte[r] of section numbered thirty four (34) Township no. four (4) North of range Ten (10) East lying and being in the county of Jefferson State of Indiana and adjacent to the town of Madison in said County. To Have and to hold the said premises with all the priveledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtening unto him the said David Vawter and to his heirs and assigns forever, so that we the said Beverly Vawter and Elizabeth Vawter his wife nor any other person or persons in our name or behoof, or in the name or behalf of any one claiming under us Shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the premises aforesaid, or any part or parcel thereof, but they and every of them Shall by these presents be forever barred and excluded. In Witness whereof the said Beverly Vawter and Elizabeth Vawter his wife party of the first part have hereunto set their hand and seals this twenty fourth day of July A.D. 1835.

Jefferson County ss } Before me William Hendricks, Jr. Notary Public in and for said County personally appeared Beverly Vawter and Elizabeth Vawter his wife and acknowledged the foregoing deed of conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Elizabeth Vawter being by me examined seperate and apart from her husband and the contents of said deed being by me fully explained to her she did declare to me that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord and as her act and deed sign seal and deliver the same to the said David Vawter without and coertion or compulcion from her said husband. In testimoney whereas I have hereunto set my hand and seal Notariel this 23'd day of July A.D. 1835.

Beverly & Elizabeth Vawter to David Vawter

    This Indenture Made this Twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five between Beverly Vawter and Elizabeth Vawter his wife of Jefferson County Indiana of the first part and David Vawter of the Same County of the Second part  Witnesseth, that the said Beverly Vawter and wife for and in consideration of the Sum of Six hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand well and truly paid, by the said David Vawter, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, convey, and confirm, unto the said David Vawter his heirs and assigns forever, A part of the South East quarter of Section Numbered thirty four (34) Township no. (4) North of Range Ten (10) East. Containing thirty two (32) acres taken off of the Eastern side of said quarter section and lying and being in the County of Jefferson and State of Indiana. And all the estate right title, interest claim and demand of them the said Beverly Vawter & wife of in and to the said premieses, and every part thereof; Together with all and singular the priviledges and appurtenances to the same belonging, or in any wise appertaining, and the rents issues and profits thereof To have and to hold the premises hereby bargained and sold, or meant or intended so to be, with the appurtenances to the only proper use and behoof of the said David Vawter & wife their heirs and assigns forever. And the said Beverly Vawter and Elizabeth his wife their heirs executors and administrators, do covenant, promise and agree to and with the said David Vawter their heirs executors administrators and assigns, that they are the true and lawful owner of the premises hereby granted, and have good right full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in manner and form aforesaid. And further that they the said Beverly Vawter and Elizabeth his wife their heirs executors and administrators, will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises, with their appurtenances, and every part and parcel thereof unto the said David Vawter his heir and assigns against all persons claiming and to calim by from or under them or any of them or by from or under any other person or persons whomsoever.
    In Witness whereof the said Beverly Vawter together with Elizabeth Vawter wife of the said Beverly Vawter who hereby freely relinquishes all her right and claim of dower in and to the premises, have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written,

Given under my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.
