MARY EPPELSHEIMER DEAD

West Second Street Resident Dies After Four Years' Illness.

Mrs. Mary Eppelsheimer, widow of Henry Eppelsheimer, passed away yesterday at 4:45 a.m. at her home 1106 west Second street, after an illness of about four years. She had been seriously ill for seven weeks.

She was born at St. Magdelene, in Ripley county and at the age of 18 years, she went to Cincinnati where she was married to Mr. Eppelsheimer, who died 44 years ago. After the death of her husband she moved to Trimble county and lived on a farm until 1907 when she came to Madison. She had made her home in this city since that time.

She was a member of St. Michael's church and was well known and well liked by a wide acquaintance. She was known to her many friends in West Madison as "Grandma."

Surviving are three children, Jacob Eppelsheimer, Miss Lena, at home and Mrs. Lonnie LYNN, of this city. A daughter, Mrs. Moses SMITH, preceded her in death. She was the last member of a family of 12 children. She leaves also seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at St. Michael's church Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock and the interment will be at St. Patrick's cemetery.
