A list of the Votes taken at an election Held in Lancaster Township for the purpose of electing a justice of the peace in said Township held by order of the Board June the 10th 1820

The original list was in the handwriting of a single person who recorded the names of the voters with first name, followed by last name. The names were entered in the order the votes were cast. This list has been sorted by last name. The numbers reflect the voting order. The list was sorted by Robert W. Scott (September 2001) Abbreviations of first names are in the original. The original is held by the Jefferson County Historical Society.

Several of the names use the archaic “f” as a medial “s” in names such as Joseph (Jofeph)
