Poll Book of an Election held in the township of Lancaster Jefferson County on the 1^st Monday in November1828 for the purpose of Electing five Electors to Vote for president and Vice president of the United States

The original list was in the handwriting of a single person who recorded the names of the voters with first name, followed by last name. The names were entered in the order the votes were cast. This list has been sorted by last name. The numbers reflect the voting order. The list was sorted by Robert W. Scott (July 2001) Abbreviations of first names are in the original. The original is held by the Jefferson County Historical Society.
