A list of the voters takin at an Election held in Lancaster Township on the 2nd Day of September 1820 for the purpose of electing two assistant justices to fill the Vacancies occasioned by the resignation of David Hillis & John Richie given under our hand this day and Date above mentioned.
The original list was in the handwriting of a single person who recorded the names of the voters with first name, followed by last name. The names were entered in the order the votes were cast. This list has been sorted by last name. The numbers reflect the voting order. The list was sorted by Robert W. Scott (July 2001) The original is held by the Jefferson County Historical Society.
