Nathan J. Walden, s/o Solomon Walden and Elizabeth Cotton, was born 2 July 1847 in Switzerland County, IN and died 2 May 1906 at Ashland, Clark County, KS. He married Mary Jane Rous on 9 June 1869 in Switzerland County, IN.
Mary Jane Rous, d/o Percy Rous and Mary Cole, was born 22 August 1844 in Switzerland County, IN and died 11 January 1912 at Ashland, Clark County, KS. Their children were John Rous Walden, Percy Edwin Walden, Elizabeth Belle Walden and Effie Pearl Walden. Effie Pearl Walden married Theodore Tilden Smith and was my grandmother on my mothers side of the family.

Amie R. Rous, s/o Capt. Percy Rous and Mary (Cole) Rous, born 2 April 1847 and died 7 February 1943. Married Clara Antoinette Etherington on 10 Nov 1870 in Switzerland County, IN.
Clara Antoinette Etherington, d/o Phillip Yancey Etherington and Marcia (Gray) Etherington, was born 28 May 1850 and died 13 August 1918.
Children of Amie and Clara were Lewis Rodolph, Lillian Bertha, Annie, Mary C., James Philip, and Harriet B.
Amie R. Rous was the brother of my ggrandmother Mary Jane (Rous) Walden.

Uly Gray, s/o Joseph and Margaret (Peters) Gray, was born December 8, 1865 in Jefferson Twp., Switzerland County, IN and died September 3, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN. He married Mary C. Rous on October 23, 1900.
Mary C. Rous, d/o Amie Rudolph & Clara Antoinette (Etherington) Rous, was born in December 1875 in Jefferson Twp., Switzerland County, IN and died May 24, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN. Both Mary and Uly are buried in the Vevay Cemetery, Switzerland County, IN. Mary was the grandaughter of Percy and Mary (Cole) Rous. Percy and Mary Rous were my great great grandparents.

Francis Marion Rous, s/o Capt. Percy & Mary (Cole) Rous, was born September 23, 1839 Vevay, Switzerland County, IN and died April 29, 1922 in Switzerland County, IN. He married Amelia F. Stewart on November 3, 1862.
Amelia F. Stewart was born in 1844 and died November 4, 1924 in Vevay, Switzerland County, IN.
Children were India Viola, Louis Percy, and Nellie E. Rous.
